Susan Watson Knight is a Melbourne based visual artist whose experimental approach sees her working with a diverse range of mediums. Her practice is driven by ideas and a suitable alliance with materials and process. Susan studied Arts and Education at La Trobe University and after teaching and travelling abroad returned to Melbourne to complete a Fine Art Degree and Honours year at RMIT. From 2004 until 2012 Susan taught at Photography Studies College in Southbank. In 2013 Susan relocated her home and studio to a rural setting where the proximity of the bush with its varied and vibrant textures influences aspects of her work.

Susan Watson Knight acknowledges and pays respect to the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which she works and lives.
